God is not just beautiful, He is perfect.

She asked a stranger for directions on vacation. Two weeks later they were engaged. Auntie asked an old soldier for a handout. They got married three months later. A young child asked a teacher for help reading. That same day they got married. A small business owner asked a customer for help. Two weeks later they got married. A woman asked a judge for relief from a speeding ticket. She got the ticket two weeks later. A father asked a school teacher for a raise. They got the raise a week later. A man asked a waiter for a tip. They got married two days later.

The first time I saw you, I wanted to say, “You are a beautiful woman.” Now, three weeks later, you are beautiful to me.

When God looks upon you, He sees perfection, but it is not because He is partial to you, it is because He loves you.

He doesn’t just want to know about you, He wants to see you. God wants you to know Him and He wants you to love Him as you should.

Don’t wait for someone or something to be perfect before you can begin to see God’s goodness. God sees your flaws and your imperfections, but He knows He is Perfect, He wants you to know it too.

The Bible tells us that God knows our heart. When we know God, He knows us. When He sees our heart, He sees our failures. When He sees our failures, He sees our perfection. He sees our perfection because He sees you.

This is why God said “Be strong and courageous. Always consider the day of your triumph and don’t allow fear to keep you from experiencing victory.” (Psalm 27:14)

What does that have to do with beauty?

God is not just beautiful, He is perfect. God may seem rough and uncaring, but all He wants is to see you. He loves you, and He calls you beautiful.

If you love Him, He will love you first. He loves you and He wants to see you first. When you love God, He loves you. And when you love Him, He sees you first.

His eyes never leave you. His heart never leaves you.

When someone looks at you, they are looking at Him. God looks at you. Do you know He is looking? There is no place He will not look. He will look
